The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned client program(s). From program startup and launch through shutdown and year end reporting, the Account Manager must manage all aspects of the program to ensure flawless execution, while delivering superior service to consistently exceed Client expectations and remain within budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Client program including:
    • Set attainable goals and key benchmarks
    • Coordinate with the production team to ensure that event set is produced in line with Client vision/expectations and within budget
    • Interview and recommend Tour Team candidates
    • Create training materials for the tour team and in-market labor
    • Oversee event database maintenance and present viable routing options
    • Negotiate and contract events approved by the Account Director and work with Program Coordinator to ensure that all logistical requirements are secured, including power/electric, temp labor, security, etc.
    • Work with Program Coordinator to utilize the online portal to compile playsheets for each event and distribute to all parties involved in a timely manner
    • Work with the Tour Manager and utilize the online portal to produce program reports at the conclusion of each event, and deliver finalized reporting to Account Director within agreed upon timeframe
    • Manage the Beauty Advisor and Manager invite/registration process, including formatting and maintenance of supporting documents, participation in all pre-event conference calls with the Sales Support
    • Managers, supervision of Program Coordinator
    • Coordinate the follow-up survey process and track results
    • Work with Warehouse personnel and utilize the online portal to monitor and manage the entire inventory process to ensure that the Tour Team and warehouse have the necessary quantities on hand at all times
    • Manage, review, respond to, and maintain Tour Team expense reports, Independent Contractor agreements and time sheets, safety reports, and all reporting mechanisms and submit to Account Director for processing
    • Monitor budget – review and submit report to Account Director on a monthly basis
    • Maintain Incremental Workbook and submit report to Account Director on a monthly basis
    • Conduct field visits and spot checks to ensure quality execution
    • Act as main point of contact with Client representatives for day-to-day operations
    • Lead weekly program meetings
    • Compile and present program results and findings to Account Director

  • Manage a secondary marketing program including:
    • Coordinate field usage of Event in a Box (EIAB) units via the online portal, and act as main point of contact for Live Helper and the EIAB hotline
    • Manage Warehouse personnel to ensure timely shipping and return of all components
    • Monitor condition of all EIAB components, and work with Support Services to coordinate all repairs/maintenance
    • Work with Avon Sales Managers and utilize the online portal to produce program reports at the conclusion of each event, and deliver finalized reporting to Client within agreed upon timeframe
    • Monitor budget – review and submit report to Account Director on a monthly basis
    • Maintain Incremental Workbook and submit report to Account Director on a monthly basis
    • Act as main point of contact with Client representatives for day-to-day operations
    • Lead monthly program meetings
    • Compile and present program results and findings to Account Director
    • Develop new ways to evolve the program and present to Account Director on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure every decision brings us closer to program goals and objectives
  • Make all fiscal decisions based on sound judgment for the Client’s budget, as well as The Borden Agency’s overall profitability
  • Identify new trends in the mobile and event marketing industries
  • Recommend new strategies, new ideas, and new approaches that will evolve our client programs and our business to achieve greater impact
  • Become a trusted resource to the Tour Team, Account Team, Client, and vendors
  • Promote the core values of The Borden Agency on a daily basis
  • Always keep safety paramount
  • Assist and support co-workers as needed

  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Event Management. No touring staff or recent college grads please.
  • BA in Marketing is a plus
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Philadelphia area.
